| Coming to the lift bridge |
We are on
the move this morning, just about a mile up to the Whitchurch arm and hopefully
we can moor down the arm as we are off to South Wales tomorrow until Thursday
to visit our friends Ken and Sue so would be good to leave the boat in the arm.

| Bridge open for us |
We untied
and set off around the corner and came to a lift bridge. I got off and opened the bridge and Kev came
through, a boat was coming the other way so I let them through then closed the
bridge.

We went
on and came to the next lift bridge but it was open as a boat was coming
through and they let us go through before they shut it again, so that was good
saved me a job!

| Coming to the Winding Hole |
We went
under a couple of road bridges and then turned into the Whitchurch Arm. It was quiet, so we went down, turned around
and moored up. It is nice down here off
the main canal and a nice sunny spot.

We are
now staying here a few days, off to Wales tomorrow, coming back Thursday, then
on Friday we will do some shopping in the town and meet our friend Jane for
coffee when she finishes work.
