Nantwich to Hurleston Junction - Shropshire Union Canal

Friday 2nd to Monday 5th August

Coming to Nantwich Junction
Going through Nantwich
Road down below
We stayed put in Nantwich over the weekend doing some shopping in the town, doing some trading on the towpath where we did sell a few things and then on Sunday we got the train to Crewe to go to the B&Q which is right by the train station as Kev wanted to get some wood to make a few more items for selling.
Going back through Nantwich

Today (Monday) we are moving on from Nantwich.  We pulled back to the services while it was quiet to fill up with water and get rid of rubbish then we set off along the canal.

Another Bridge
Coming to a bend
We went over the aqueduct and on to the winding hole where we turned around.  We then went back over the aqueduct, past the services and on our way.

We chugged on for a couple of miles, under a few bridges and moored up before the junction with the Llangollen canal.  We were only going to stop for lunch then go on, but this is a nice spot to moor so we decided to stay here tonight and move on in the morning.
